Sometimes as remethylation occurs a jump start effect is observed . Just as a car needs to be jump started with higher voltages so do methyl defects. The effect is unnerving at times and if it is tolerated, should be persisted with. These effects even out in a few days to weeks. Alternatively doses can be reduced to whatever is comfortable then re introduced after 3 weeks to 3 months. At times this is even longer in certain in dividuals. This is not a negative effect but a sign of positivity, and of a methyl block. The issues usually are with methionine, b6 and calcium in sensitive individuals.
