There are so many tablets as the nutrient need for methylation correction relies on bypassing metabolic blocks. These blocks are like blocked drains in a storm water system. An enormous force is needed to pump prime these critical biochemical reactions . Just as a little bit of debris can block your sink , so a little bit of aberration in a biochemical reaction can cause a extraordinary nutrient need. These nutrients are not given at physiological amounts but at nutra medical doses. Precise biochemical analysis determines the amount of dose prescribed.
The higher dose that is taken the stronger the block or severity of your condition. In general biochemical blocks if freeable need 3 months to 1 year to clear and another 12 months to maximize.

Stress if prolonged for many weeks or longer takes it toll. If you put up with stress there is a price to pay. Stress for a body not only includes mental stress but also physical. Keeping yourself stress levels in check is difficult as too much or too little stress has a negative effect. Too much work, too little play is a combo often found in modern living. There are many things that can aid to less stress, but the comments are reserved to metabolic nutrient interventions.
Insomnia.................................... try phosphatidyl serine,melatonin .
Agitation.....................................try neurocalm,sf 88, b complex.
Magnesium and zinc b6 are useful .... .try zinc plus
For males several studies reveal testosterone is raised by herbs such as tribulus,
................................................try adam.
A combo of the above is useful and a trial of 3 months is not unreasonable.

Cytochrome p45o is a system of enzymes that have health implications. Many medications are metabolized and or affect these enzymes. Interesting the enzymes are inhibitable and inducible by many natural and food substances . In general natural foods, vitamins and minerals have a positive effect on these enzymes and the paradigm of modern living like cigarettes and alcohol have a deleterious effect. These enzyme systems are geneticly determined in function , but modifiable by " healthy living ".
The beneficial effects of ultaclear , ultraclear maintain, gtox, rejuvenx are dependent on modification of these enzyme systems. The formulations are slightly different to account for these genetic aberrations.
How often and how long you need to take these products is dependent on clinical responses.
In general 2 to 3 weeks is useful every 2 to 3 months to keep things at premium responses.

Hi there
There are many answers for you query and therefore may options for you, be assured you don't have to suffer from those mood swings and menstrual problems lets see if we can turn into
Ok so it does seem you have oestrogen excess or dominance I'll try and give you a bit of info on Oestrogen, its bodily functions and what this excess means. After that I will make some suggestions for your treatment options and hopefully that way you will have a deeper understanding of your body and this ailment as well as the importance of supplements recommended for you.
Oestrogen has many actions and numerous body functions besides the main role it plays as a sex hormone (development of female sexual characteristics and reproduction). Oestrogen also helps temperature regulation, thyroid function, prevents memory loss, regulates cholesterol and weight, preserves the density of bones. Oestrogen is also very important to our emotional wellbeing and regulates mood swings (as you would already know) anger outbursts as well as depression and fatigue. Oestrogen excess or dominance implies that the relative levels of oestrogen to progesterone are unbalanced, in favour of oestrogen. Low levels of progesterone are the primary cause of your emotional instability and bloating as well as fluid retention. The causes of this hormonal imbalance are many but mainly this is due to chronic stress which depletes our progesterone; impaired liver function which is the main vessel for oestrogen breakdown and detoxification; environmental oestrogen overload (food mainly). Also did you know that the OCP can contribute to this excess as well? It decreases progesterone production therefore further misbalancing the ratios of the two hormones.
The best way to approach this is by increasing your livers ability to metabolise oestrogen, this way we will also increase elimination/detoxification of excess oestrogen. The oxidation of oestrogen is mediated by cytochrome P450, there are certain foods and nutrients that will help this enzyme along such as all foods from the brassica family (brusselsprouts, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower etc) Methionine and Glutamine are some of the amino acids that 'power' this enzyme along. Have a look at Ultraclear or Ultraclear Plus in our E-shop, they have been specifically formulated to aid in liver detoxification. Dietary changes are also necessary so you can avoid extra oestrogen intake, this involves removing all Diary products from your diet (at least for some time 6 weeks or more); increasing fibre rich foods will reduce the amount of oestrogen that can be reabsorbed through the intestines; reduce alcohol and caffeinated beverages as these will put extra demands on your liver and therefore slow down detoxification.
Some nutrients I would highly recommend for you are:
Indolplex (this regulates the balance of Oestrogen: Progesterone)
Gynavite one per day (is a vitamin/herbal supplement specifically formulated for women who experience hormonal disturbance) or Formula SF88 Plus as a general multivitamin (did you know that OCP reduces the absorption of many minerals and vitamins?)
Vit B 6 one per day (this will help with mood swings and will lower irritability as it helps make serotonin and GABA a powerful relaxing neurotransmitter)
Marine Oil + EPO two per day (this will help with fluid imbalance, bloating, mood swings also you may find that your skin will clear up)
Other supplements you may benefit from are Elezac (with St. John's Wort to help with mood), Black Currant Seed Oil and Same will help in that department as well. Now you have indicated that you are currently on OCP, you might want to take some form of probiotics as 'the pill' reduces the amount of good bacteria in our gut and increases candida growth (Prodophilus or SB Flora) and lets not forget Magnesium (which is decreased due to lowered absorption as a result of long term OCP use).
Hopefully you have got the answer you were searching for somewhere in this jargon up there.

Hi there
To answer your first question: NO not all Glucosamines are the same! Glucosamine is considered a great dietary supplement to treat Arthritis, and as such can be found in many forms and in different combinations. Most commonly it is seen as either Glucosamine Sulphate or as Glucosamine Hydrochloride and comes from either bovine, porcine or shellfish, and to a small degree from corn or wheat. The Glucosamine seen in most health food shops and pharmacies generally comes from shellfish and is in the sulphate form (as most studies used this form and found it to be effective). Glucosamine on its own should be taken at at least 1500mg per day to show any efficacy in treating Arthritis (both OA and RA), so taking the ever growing number of different supplements out there (some range from 800mg, 1000mg or 1500mg) it depends how many tablets one should take to get any benefits.
As to your second query: Methyl sulphonyl methane (also known as MSM) is generally derived from plant sources (although the MSM we see in supplements is mainly commercially made). MSM supplies the body with an organic form of sulfur which plays a crucial role in forming muscles, nails, hair and skin as well as building healthy cells. Sulfur is necessary for making collagen, the primary constituent of cartilage and connective tissue. Chondroitin sulphate is also an important element of collagen formation and is an important structural component of cartilage (which is lost in OA), hence its vast use in 'anti-arthritic' supplements (mostly together with glucosamine and MSM). It is derived from bovine or porcine cartilage (ears and nose) or from shark fins and bird beaks. Most of the Chondroitin found commercially comes from sharks and other fish and the recommended daily dose ranges from 800mg-1000mg or more.
Generally these three ingredients are used in numerous variations for Arthritis (mainly OA), different combinations and different quality standards call for the increasing number of supplements on the market. Studies have shown that Glucosamine sulphate, Chondroitin sulphate and MSM together can reduce the severity of symptoms associated with Osteoarthritis (such as pain and stiffness) as they reduce inflammation and increase cartilage formation.
To avoid the confusion associated with the numerous supplements found in supermarkets, pharmacies and health food stores (many of which have poor quality standards) our team at Dr Jaa's Medical Health have sourced the best (in our professional opinion) Glucosamine/MSM/Chondroitin supplement: BOVINE TRACHEAL CARTILAGE (Sol Da Hydrolysate) which is bsa free and contains silica and other polysaccharides need to maintain and to correct our cartilage health. I would recommend 1 tsp of Sol Da together with a high standard fish oil supplement e.g. EPA/DHA 2-3 capsules per day and perhaps a powerful herbal anti-inflammatory supplement (for those extra hard and painful days) such as Kaprex or Nalgesic.

Yes there are many nutrients that help . Remember that they usually take 3 months to be effective . I would suggest omega 3 fish oils with vitamin A and bovine tracheal cartilage . Bovine tracheal cartilage {btc} is bse free .. no mad cow issues and contains silica, msm, glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and other polysaccharides that aid tissue healing . It resembles in constituents the extracellular matrix of the body .ie connective tissue matrix . .
RX
2 nordic natural cod liver oil capsules and bovine tracheal cartilage at 1 teaspoon a day.
Topical cartrin is also useful this is btc applied topically

Persons diagnosed or have the metabolic condition krytopyrolles <kp> have an extraordinary metabolic demand for b6 / zinc/ and or magnesium and biotin. Individuals with kp often feel better if they skip breakfast and like to start their day late. I have found that taking the prescribed am / morning dose at lunch and the pm dose with dinner fixes all the nausea issues. The need to spread dose is avoided if a delay in dose is useful to some.

The nutrients b6 and zinc often cause nausea but the use of p5p pyridoxal 5 phosphate in lieu of b6 is a good idea and a ratio on 10 to 1 is a guide to amounts. That is 500 mg of b6 is equivalent to 50 mg of p5p. Also if I take the b6/ zinc at night before I sleep I overcome my nauseous issues. The only issues that I have heard of taking b6 at night is that it keeps some people awake/ gives energy . B6 is then to be avoided in persons that feel wired at night from the nocte / night dose.

I used to get nausea on my meds but have worked out if I spread the dose so that I take fewer meds at once and dose 4 to 6 times a day so that the total dose per day was the same, I avoided nausea. Also after 3 months I was able to tolerate the full dose at 2 intakes / dose times per day.
